Ok so, It might be a little bit too much crazy to dole out all at once, but here we go

I was thumbing through a deviants gallery which was amazingly hypnotic and dealt with purely underwater portraiture - that was all I needed, the seed was planted.. I must make some.

So I went to the FAQ in the artists journal and of course.. the #1 question they had been asked was (drooling slightly from the corner of the mouth) "mmm but how does de camer0r wurk under the liquidz mm?"

It was a good question. As I was tweaking my imaginary moustache in quiet contemplation to try and conjure forth the answer for myself, I noticed a link. A tiny link. A very tidy, tiny link.

I clicked it.

It was a link to Aqua Tech! Providing people with some very dorky red plastic to wrap around our very dorky black plastic cameras. All the answers bestowed to me now I proceeded to enter in the information of my own camera, to find the casing perfect to moi.

And then, it happened.

An underwater housing for a 40D is $1500? Holy shit... WHY. Thats like bying a second camera! You know. that thing, with all the science packed inside?

I got so weirded out by the price I imagined up a conversation between a camera and an underwater housing case.

"I convert light into visable, recordable latent images, using my extremely scientific and delicate comprised of censors, circuitry, mirors and glass elements"
"Oh, um.. I'm a supersonic forcefield made completely out of dark matter! ..and I got an A in physics."
"Really?"
"..no . ooh! But i can make a pretty mean.. seal.. .. .."
" a..huh.. *walks away*"

So I thought stuff it, I'll just use a plastic bag O_O .. Little did I know some clever fool had already been at the idea before I could get to it..
